2015 Annual Conference

With over 25 education sessions, 7 theatre tours and even a country music legend, the National Conference July 19-22 in Nashville took Music City by storm.

Our educational program this year included The LHAT Nonprofit Board Summit as well as sessions on restoration, safety, technology and programming along with important case studies of best practices from around the nation. In total, we had more than 42 hours of historic theatre education – truly something for everyone.

Our Keynote speaker was Randy Cohen, Vice President of Research and Policy at Americans for the Arts, our nation's oldest performing arts center. Watch the recorded Keynote Address on the LHATChannel.

Attendees had an opportunity to visit the Franklin Theatre, Franklin; Park Theatre, McMinnville; Capitol Theatre, Lebanon; Palace Theater, Gallatin; Ryman Auditorium, Nashville; War Memorial at TPAC, Nashville; and Belcourt Theatre, Nashville.

More than 40 exhibitors shared their latest products and services representatives from with more than 115 different historic theatre organizations across the United States and Canada.

Resources from 2015 Conference Education sessions are now available online for all LHAT members in the Member Center . Members will have to enter their password to access the resources.
